Since founding thedesignair.net in 2012, Jonny Clark has collaborated with magazines and websites around the world, and has become a recognised source of opinion in the airline industry. thedesignair.net continues to grow, partnering and consulting with some of the most prestigious brands around the world, whilst still maintaining an easy-to-digest design-led website based around airline product and design innovation.

Jonny, an ex-commercial pilot now heads up Business Development for branded content company Ink as well as running thedesignair.net. His background has been in aviation for 15 years. Jonny’s experience has led him to working with over 50 different airlines in his career, working alongside the branding agencies and marketing teams within the airlines and helping develop some of the world’s most recognisable airline brands.

Now he continues to work as a consultant for the industry providing invaluable consultation to the airline world and has developed a passion for the sector of design within the airline industry, spanning from technological advances in airline construction through to the use of brand within the aircraft.
