Macau, gambling Mecca to Asia has just gained a lounge to be proud of. Plaza Premium Lounge has just launched their brand new space at the airport. Amazingly, 5 million passengers fly through Macau International Airport every year. Plaza Premium will be the only lounge provider in Macau. The new 4,340 square feet lounge will have seating for 135 passengers and offer a variety of standard premium lounge offerings, from healthy yet tasty food options,complimentary high speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated resting area.
Catering to the VIP travellers that frequent Macau, the new Plaza Premium Lounge is also equipped with two spacious VIP rooms (pictured above) with elegant interior settings, quality sound-proof system and independent restroom, allowing travellers to enjoy the utmost privacy at all times. In addition for a fully VIP service, Plaza Premium Lounge will also host a meet and greet service, to give travellers a seamless kerb-to-apron experience at MIA.
Macau is yet another of Plaza Premium’s lounges designed by Kinney Chan & Associates, who offer “relaxation and lifestyle at the heart of the lounge”. The vibe of the lounge is dark and sultry, and quietly luxurious with lots of natural materials, such as marble, wood and earthy colours on display. Situated on the Mezzanine floor, the lounge is landslide, a simple escalator ride up from check in, you are at the lounge. All airlines operating from Macau will eventually offer its premium passengers access to the lounge. Inside, the catering has a nod to the Macanese to give guests a sense of place, and in addition, Plaz Premium also offer a range of international dishes including a selection of salads. You could be tucking into favourites such as Portuguese Tart, Serradura or a Roasted Chicken with Rosemary & Garlic. In the near future, the lounge will also prepare more Portuguese & Malaysia style dishes for their guests.
Whilst the lounge is only just opening, Plaza Premium is already expanding their offering, and have already commenced work on expanding the two VIP rooms to a total of 7, and offer a an exclusive landside-in airside-out channel to guests of Plaza Premium Lounge.
