Avianca this week announced the latest opening of their new lounge concept in Miami International Airport. Located in Terminal J near boarding gate 12B, the lounge offers its services to LifeMiles Élite Gold and Diamond members as well as Star Alliance Gold, Priority Pass cardholders or Business Class travelers and their guest.
This is the 16th lounge run by Avianca that features space for 22o passengers throughout its 522 square meters. Designed to service Avianca flights throughout the day, the lounge is open every day from 3:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. Like its flagship lounge in Bogota, the space is divided into work, living area, coffee station, reading, entertainment, and rest areas, as well as an area especially designed for kids and restrooms. The lounge also offers full dining options including snack services, a menu of light meals, appetizers, alcoholic and soft drinks, internet, television, air conditioning, reading materials, fax and local calls.
Opened by Rodrigo Llaguno, Vice President of Customer Experience for Avianca, the lounge follows the same white, red and grey colour scheme that had become iconic in Avianca’s new brand direction. Although fairly simplistic in design, the lounge is an improvement to the previous offering and yet another enhancement to a carrier that is constantly improving its hard product.
