Here at, we have almost been running for 3 years, produced in excess of 500 stories, and recently launched a new radio show. We are thrilled that the website has grown so quickly, with such a great following. As the site grows, so do our partnerships, and we have worked hard to develop relationships with some of the best talent around the world. We are pleased to announce our judging panel for’s popular Top 10 Awards. Our judges come from a variety of backgrounds giving them the best cross-section for judging airlines from a variety of touch-points.

Jonny is the founder of With over 10 years experience in the aviation sector, and having worked with over 50 airline brands in his career, Jonny has amassed a wealth of knowledge in airline brand strategy. He helped some of the largest airlines in the world develop and strengthen their brand and now works as both a design consultant and commercial pilot in the field. He also is a travel and industry writer, and prefers to be exploring the world rather than watching it go by on TV.

Global Creative President, TBWA
Rob Schwartz is the Global Creative President for TBWA\Worldwide, overseeing the creative direction and leadership of TBWA’s global accounts, including Nissan, Visa and Pepsi. In fact, the LA office recently earned the number one advertising agency position on the prestigious 2011 “Pencil Rankings” (according to The One Club and D&AD) and was named to AdAge’s prestigious “A-List.” A writer by trade, Rob has earned nearly every major advertising award, including an Emmy nomination as well as Adweek’s “Best of the Decade.” Rob was also named “Leader of The Year” by the Los Angeles Advertising Agencies Association. Rob has also become one of the most influential creative voices in the advertising industry. He is a frequent contributor to Forbes. Adweek named him one of “Top 25 Advertising Voices to Follow on Twitter.” And he is a contributing writer on Adweek+AOL’s blog, “Fuel the Future.”

Enrique has worked as a writer in the aviation industry for over 6 years, working originally with Airliners Magazine and now heading up as Director of Air Transport News’ Latin American Branch: AeroNoticias. He also founded the successful website SVZM. He has been on more flights than he has had hot dinners, and has been passionate about flying since an early age, already holding a commercial pilots licence. Enrique is respected by the aviation industry around the world and has written reports for most of the international airlines in the world.

From eight international offices, his Company produces inflight magazines for more than 26 airlines, including American Airlines, United Airlines, easyJet, Iberia, Norwegian, Germanwings, Tiger Airways, Wizz, Thomas Cook and Scoot. Over the past twenty years, Michael has launched 50+ inflight publications. Ink Global has also built a tech platform that delivers targeted media to passengers across several digital channels, as well as building the main airline apps for Jetstar and Cebu Pacific.

Ted logs over 55 flights and 160,000 miles in the air every year. He started as a journalist at CBS News’s London bureau before joining Capital FM on their Sony Award-winning nightly news programme The Way It Is. Ted’s television work includes programmes for BBC News and Sport, ITV and Sky – and he was part of the team that won four Bafta awards for best live event coverage between 2006 and 2009. Ted is also a light aircraft pilot, flying a Piper Cherokee from Biggin Hill.

Thomas Kochs is currently the general manger of one of the finest 5 star hotels in the world, Claridge’s in London. His 22 year career in the hospitality industry has provided him with a wealth of experience in the luxury hotel market. Recently, he appeared in ‘Inside Claridge’s’ which showcased the behind the scenes footage of how the hotel is run. He constantly travels as part of his job, and has a great understanding of the importance of the quality and attention to detail in any service industry.

Jens is our generation X specialist, who epitomises the generation, a keen traveller due to his work commitments, Jens gets to experience many of the world’s leading airlines in their business and first class cabins. He started his career in tourism working for travel agencies, tour operators and in business development for Starwood hotels, before heading to the banking industry where he currently resides as the President of the Weather Risk Management Association. He has a keen eye and always searching for the best quality products in both aviation and the hotel industry.
