EVA Air, unlike it’s competitor China Airlines, offers sleepwear for it’s Business Class passengers on the carrier’s long-haul flights. Extending on a successful partnership, EVA Air is updating its collaboration with internationally renowned fashion designer Jason Wu to create its second-generation inflight sleepwear.
The exclusive partnership brought to life by global design company Buzz, sees a refreshed Jason Wu branded fashion-forward sleeper suit and slippers for passengers.
First launching in 2019, EVA Air launched sleepwear for Royal Laurel and Premium Laurel Class passengers on long-haul flights. The sleepwear proved to be so popular with travelers that EVA is releasing a new range launching onboard in February 2020.
Designed for the ultimate in style and comfort, the sleepwear is made from a soft, cozy fabric and now features a drawstring collar replacing the fastener neck line of the previous incarnation. The pants feature an elastic drawstring waist with pockets in a funky striped design.
Taking inspiration from Jason Wu’s latest ready to wear collection shown at New York Fashion Week, the ‘athleisure’ designs incorporate a feature stripe detail on the collar, cuff and pocket and will be available in three different sizes. The sleepwear is already available onboard.
Interesting – all the more reason to fly BR. I had the opportunity to visit Buzz’s offices in Melbourne a few years ago. Fascinating place.
