January saw the roll-out of new amenity kits in American Airlines‘ First and Business Class cabins on long-haul International services, in addition to the carrier’s prestigious Transcontinental A321T flights between JFK, SFO and LAX.
The new kits were co-designed and branded by renowned lifestyle brand Cole Haan. Founded in Chicago in 1928, Cole Haan have brought their expertise in crafting premium footwear and accessories for both men and women to the new kits. Each kit includes a selection of Beauty/ Skincare products from either C.O. Bigelow, 3Lab or Clark’s Botanicals, in addition to a redesigned eye mask, pair of socks, ear plugs, toothbrush, toothpaste and headphone protectors.
The kits are available in four different colours – Grey, Burgundy, Navy or Black, with the International First Class variety designed to be re-used as a tablet holder. The new kits began rolling out this month and will be completely on board all American flights by March.
The carrier is also the latest to bring out new pyjamas on their International First Class passengers, offering a new level of comfort (and style) for those long haul red-eye flights.
It is not just the amenities that have been revamped and refreshed. Ink, the world’s largest travel media company has also recently revamped its titles for the carrier, including the main cabin magazine American Way and Business & First Class magazine Celebrated Living. The carrier’s Latin American title Nexos will be updated when it arrives onboard in February. They are high quality magazines with fantastic layouts and stories and a welcome addition to the inflight entertainment offering onboard.
